Officers

The PA Executive Board is elected by the parent body at the PA Annual Meeting held each May.  It meets monthly and is composed of the Co-Presidents (one each for the Lower and Upper Schools), Auction and Saturday Fair Co-Chairs, Treasurer, Recording and Communications Secretaries, Program Coordinator and Division Chairs.  The Division Chairs coordinate the Parent Representatives and activities for the grades included in their Divisions and meet regularly with the appropriate Trevor Division Director.  All officers serve two year terms. The two Co-Presidents are exofficio members of the Board of Trustees.

Parent Representatives

Parent Representatives are selected by the PA Executive Board in consultation with a PA Nominating Committee and the administration of the school in the spring of each year.  Each grade has several parents serving as Parent  Representatives. The primary function of a Parent Representative is to serve as a resource for the grade and to act as a liaison between the parents and the school.   This includes encouraging families to talk to teachers, Division Heads or other members of the administration, the PA Division Chair or Co-President, as appropriate, to resolve issues.  Keep the reps in your grade informed of your questions and suggestions, as they represent your views in monthly meetings with your Division Director.  They will come to you for help as they coordinate extracurricular activities for your grade, including fundraising functions for the PA.

Other Parent Volunteers

We encourage all parents to become more active members of the Parents Association through volunteering to help with various events and programs.  We are fortunate to have a wonderful cadre of parents who generously volunteer their time, but we are always hoping to expand that group.  Volunteering to help with the many Parents Association events and programs is a wonderful way to meet other parents, become more familiar with the school and give back to the school that your child(ren) spend so much time at.  In addition to jobs that require a greater time commitment, there are numerous opportunities for people to volunteer pockets of time to projects/programs that are limited in scope and the amount of time required.  Everyone has a skill or interest to offer!
