Although Trevor is comprised of four divisions, each with its own rhythm, unique curriculum and age appropriate rules of conduct, a certain commonality of experience is discernable across all divisions.

Whether in a kindergarten classroom or a senior elective, students are responsible for taking charge of their own work; expressing themselves with respect towards others; collaborating effectively. Most important, students are learning through doing, both in and out of the classroom.

The students’ interaction with faculty, too, is consistent as teachers are there to instruct, of course, but essentially play the role of facilitating and inspiring the students’ own paths to discovery.

Although a day in the life of a first grader differs vastly on the surface from that of a high school sophomore, the essential driver in the day is engagement in all things.
