Lower School students begin their Trevor journey in Trevor West—the Andrew Goodman Building on West 88th Street and Central Park West. This building is named for an alumnus of the Walden School (which merged with Trevor in the 1990s), and one of three civil rights activists killed while registering voters in Mississippi during 1964’s Freedom Summer. Trevor has the privilege of educating students in the Goodman Building, preparing our young thinkers to become courageous global citizens.

Trevor completed a multi-phase renovation project in 2017, optimizing the Goodman Building for early childhood and elementary learning. The space hosts bright and modern classrooms and spacious collaborative spaces. The colorful lobby welcomes students each day and is adjacent to our auditorium and light-filled library.
Students enjoy dedicated music and art rooms, an expansive dining room, and a full-sized gymnasium. And, with an outdoor terrace and close proximity to Central Park, the building gives students exceptional access to the outdoors for learning and play.

Trevor's Middle & Upper School—Trevor East—is housed in a brand-new LEED Gold, 15-story, state-of-the-art facility on East 95th Street. The building design was inspired by the Trevor mission—putting dynamic teaching and learning at the center of the space. In this new building, Trevor’s signature collaborative spaces—the Upper School Center and Middle School Common Room—are enhanced by a wall of windows, high ceilings, technological resources, and ample square footage. In fact, the entire school was designed to facilitate collaboration among students and teachers and across disciplines.
