Application Components

List of 12 items.

  • Application Form

To begin the admissions process, please submit a completed Application Form, along with a $75 nonrefundable application fee. This fee is waived for applicants who are also applying for tuition assistance; please email [email protected] to obtain the fee waiver code. We encourage families to submit the Application Form as soon as possible, to ensure availability of an interview appointment. We also encourage you to include a photo of the applicant, but this is not mandatory.

    Due Date: November 15th

  • Interview & Campus Visit

After you have submitted the Application Form, please self-register for a tour and interview visit in Ravenna.

Your visit will last approximately two hours and it will include a tour of the campus, a student interview, and a conversation with the parent(s)/guardians(s).

An interview is a required part of the admissions process. While we do our best to schedule all families who submit an Application Form, interview appointments are limited and we encourage families to submit the Application Form and self-register for a tour and interview visit as early as possible.

    Application Form Deadline: November 15th

  • Tuition Assistance

If your family is applying for tuition assistance, please answer “yes” to the relevant question on the Application Form; email our office at [email protected] to obtain a fee waiver code before you submit your application. Families requesting tuition assistance must complete a Clarity application by January 1st.

Clarity applications will be available online at https://app.clarityapp.com/sign-in after October 1st.

  • Parent Statement

Only one Parent Statement is required, but multi-household families may submit more information if they wish. The Parent Statement can be accessed in Ravenna.

Parents who are more comfortable submitting their responses in French or Spanish are encouraged to do so.

  • Student Questionnaire

The Student Questionnaire is designed for the student to complete; it consists of a survey of extracurricular interests and short answer questions. The Student Questionnaire can be accessed in Ravenna.

    Due Date: November 15th

  • Upper School Essay (Grades 9-12)

All Upper School applicants are required to submit a response to one of the Trevor Essay prompts. The ISAAGNY Common Essay Response is also accepted.

  • Official School Transcripts

Please provide your student’s current school with a signed Transcript Release form by December 1st. This form authorizes the submission of your student’s cumulative school record directly to Trevor. Official transcripts must come directly from the school and will be treated as confidential.

For Middle School and Upper School applicants (grades 6-12): two years of school transcripts are required (the prior year and current-year transcript, as well as any standardized testing).

We understand that some schools will not release transcripts that include the current year until after January 11th. Please write to our office if transcripts will not be released by the deadline so that we may make a note in your child's file.

    Due Date: January 11th

  • Math and English Teacher Recommendations

After November 15th, please request recommendations from your child’s current math and English teachers. This time frame ensures that your child's current teacher has had an opportunity to get to know them. Trevor Recommendation Forms are sent as delegated forms by families to teachers through Ravenna. ISAAGNY Common Recommendation Forms are also accepted.

All applicants for 6th-12th grades should submit separate Math and English recommendations (including 6th-grade applicants who have a single teacher for all subjects).

Recommendations from prior-year teachers are accepted but may not be submitted in place of the current-year recommendation requirement.

    Due Date: January 11th

  • Math Curriculum Overview (Grades 9-12)

In an effort to better understand the math curriculum content and mastery of our applying students, please delegate the Math Curriculum Overview form to your student’s current math teacher after November 15th. Forms submitted before this date will not be accepted.

There are separate forms for grade 9 and grades 10-12 – please delegate the form appropriate to your student’s applying grade level.

    Due Date: January 11th
