The visual arts program at Trevor is built upon the following beliefs:

• Participating in and appreciating the artistic process is integral to a Trevor education.
• All students are artists at their own level of development.
• Taking risks in pursuit of artistic expression impacts every aspect of a student's growth across all disciplines.

Throughout their Lower School experience, students explore a wide range of media including collage, crayon rubbings, drawing, hand sculpting with clay, painting, and printing with handmade stamps.

Middle and Upper School students may select from courses in ceramics, drawing and painting, mosaics, photography, stained glass, and video production. Trevor’s process-oriented environment is evident in the students' work, which is showcased in the annual art show each spring. This dynamic work remains on display throughout the following year to encourage reflection and affirm the community’s commitment to artistic expression.
