Welcome to Trevor

Welcome to Trevor Day School—A Private NYC School

At Trevor Day School, we offer an independent education from nursery school through 12th grade. For almost 90 years, we have provided students with an engaging, rigorous, and innovative learning environment. From early childhood through high school, Trevor classes are fueled by a dynamic curriculum, the curiosity of students, and the guidance of expert teachers.

Academic Program

Trevor students benefit from a classic college-preparatory curriculum taught through highly engaging methods such as seminar-style discussions, projects, and investigations. Trevor's graduates are known in the colleges they attend as highly competent, self-directed learners, eager to make an impact within their communities.

At Trevor Day School, student engagement is at the center of the learning experience. We believe in fostering a collaborative culture, which results in a close-knit community of confident learners. For more information about the academic program at Trevor, visit our academics page.

Trevor Arts, Athletics, Programs & Clubs

At Trevor Day School, students participate in a variety of formative programs. Our arts program allows students to explore a wide range of visual art, dance, music, and theatre arts, and gives them unique opportunities such as studying with professional artists, choreographing performances for our signature Choreolab, and singing in front of a crowd of thousands at Citi Field. Students can also participate in a competitive athletics program across fall, winter, and spring seasons. The athletics teams start in grade 6 and continue through the JV and Varsity levels. For more information on the athletics program, including our teams and schedules, visit our athletics page.

In addition to arts and athletics, there are numerous extracurricular programs and clubs at Trevor, including Student Council, Newspaper, Multiple Identities One World, Model UN, Trevor Radio, Yearbook, Peer Leadership, and many more. We also offer after-school and summer programs.
