Trevor Thursday Digest - September 9, 2021

Dear Trevor Community:

You’ve heard a lot from me lately, so this one is going to be short.

It doesn’t get much better than this.

I spent an hour this morning greeting our new and returning students and their families on the steps of West 88th Street. Tomorrow, I will have a similar experience greeting everyone on East 95th Street, where Mr. Feign and Ms. Damas have assured me that it went smoothly (and enthusiastically!) this morning. It is wonderful to have everybody back.

Earlier today, I wrote to the faculty and staff, wishing them all the best for the academic year ahead. I also mentioned some of the unsung heroes at our school—who, over the summer, and especially these last few weeks—have seamlessly adapted to the ever changing COVID-19 guidance to prepare our facilities so that we can give our students the safest and most enriching school experience possible. When you see our maintenance, housekeeping, security, and food service staff, please share your gratitude. I offer my sincere thanks to them all.

What a joy to have all of our students, faculty, and staff back together. Trevor Together.

Warmly,

Scott R. Reisinger
Head of School
