The Trevor community comes out in its finest for the annual Parents Association Benefit Gala—an elegant evening of festivity and philanthropy.
 
Donate to Live and Silent Auctions

This Benefit Gala is truly by parents, for parents. The amazing items and experiences that make our silent and live auctions special all come from our own community's connections, creativity, and generosity. We need your help to make this year's event incredible!

Collections for the auctions items are wide ranging, including restaurant certificates, unique experiences, sports tickets, backstage passes, vacation homes, and much more!

We welcome donations from parents, local businesses, and corporate sponsors. All donated items and donor details are featured in our online bidding catalog.

Please use the form below to submit details about your donation. Once the form is complete, kindly note our dates below for accepting merchandise and items. 
Parent Donations:

Event Tickets - On and off Broadway, sporting events, concerts, exhibits, etc
Restaurant Gift Cards - Ask your favorite local restaurants next time you dine there
Shopping Gift Cards - Reach out to boutiques and stores you frequent
Workout Classes - Ask your fitness studio, yoga instructor, or personal trainer if they'd donate a class package
Children's Programming - Contact your child's music teacher, art instructor, or tutor about donating lessons
Camps and classes - Day or sleepaway camps, art classes, sports classes, or even birthday parties!
Hotel Stays - Contact a hotel you frequent or ask upon check out of the hotel, ask the manager about donating a night's stay for a school auction
Art - Local artists often support school auctions, or consider donating your own artwork/photography
Beauty and Spa - Mani/pedi, facials, laser treatments, and spa services
Signed Memorabilia - Signed balls, jerseys, musical instruments, posters, and more
Jewelry & Fashion - Local jewelers and boutiques may donate pieces for good exposure
Unique Experiences - Use your professional connections! Know someone in film, media, golf courses, or specialized industries?
Artist/Author Connections- Local creators often support community causes

Business Donations:

Many merchants and business owners would consider donating merchandise, a gift card, tickets, memorabilia, and/or a service to support the Benefit Gala.  They would be an integral part of supporting the silent and live auctions of our event! All donated items and details of the donor business will be displayed in our online bidding catalog prior to and on the night of the auction, and a list of donating companies will appear on the signage platform at the event.

Corporate Sponsors:

If you or someone you know would like to become a corporate sponsor, please email benefit@trevor.org to indicate your interest in doing so. A member of our team will follow up to facilitate your involvement at your requested level.

Tickets & Event Information

We offer different ticket packages that range from individual tickets to packages to support various programming.

Join us for this special night of celebration and community. Tickets include cocktail hour, dinner, and full evening program with bidding on live and silent auction.

Dinner seating for this event is open, providing a wonderful opportunity to mingle and meet families from across all grade levels. During cocktail hour, guests are welcome to save seats at dinner tables. For larger groups who have coordinated in advance, complete tables of 10-12 guests who have already purchased tickets may request a reserved table by emailing benefit@trevor.org by Monday March 3rd with the names of everyone in your party. Please note that only complete tables can be reserved; individual seating requests cannot be accommodated. Reserved tables are distributed throughout the room, so all guests will enjoy the same great experience.

Silent Auction Bidding

Bidding on the Silent Auction is available to the entire TDS community! Now is your chance to join the action and bid on amazing items, trips, events, and priceless experiences with beloved members of Trevor’s staff! 

If You Are Attending

If you ARE attending the event, you will receive a text with a link to begin bidding prior to the event. Please DO NOT CLICK on the link below, as this will cause confusion with your registration. You can begin to peruse this year’s auction, mark items as your favorites, and place your Max Bids on your must-have items and experiences. You will receive text/email notifications, keeping you up-to-date on your bidding status. Please contact development@trevor.org, if you did not receive a text to start bidding.

If You Are Not Attending

If you are NOT attending the event, click the following link to start bidding now: trevor2025.ggo.bid You will be prompted to complete a quick registration process (or log in again, if you’ve bid online at the last auction) and will then be able to be part of the bidding action, until the close of the auction on Tuesday, March 10th, at 9:30 pm.

Auction Pick Up Information

If you place the winning bid online, you will receive a confirmation via text/email at the close of the auction. Auction winners may pick up items at event check-out. For remote bidders, pick-up is available at West Campus ONLY on the below dates.

  • What can I donate?

    Restaurant gift card, jewelry, art, fine gifts, luxury fashion, vacation homes, time shares, sports tickets, concert tickets, on and off Broadway show tickets, group dinners at your home, golf outings, signed memorabilia, back stage passes, art, wine, and anything you are considering we are happy to help you brainstorm. Email us at benefit@trevor.org.
  • What items sell well?

    Group experiences like dining and golf, restaurant and shopping gift cards, children's programming, hotel stays and event tickets, art, memorabilia, and unique experiences are all great.
  • How should I ask for donations from businesses?

    Keep it simple! Explain that you're supporting your child's school fundraiser and ask if they have a donation program for school auctions. Many businesses have established policies and appreciate the community exposure. Not sure what to say? Email benefit@trevor.org and we can provide a sample message or talk through your approach.
  • How do I drop off donation?

    We'll have three convenient drop-off days across both campuses.  Please have the donation form filled out and bring the screenshot with you. Business donations can also be emailed to benefit@trevor.org. If a business wants to mail anything to us, please have them send to Trevor Day School, 1 West 88th Street, New York, NY 10024, Attn: Parents Association Benefit Gala.
  • Can my donation be picked up?

    We can only arrange pick up for a merchant donation.
  • What CAN’T I donate?

    We cannot accept items that have expired, are damaged, or don't have clear value for bidding. Perishable food items (unless part of an experience package), used clothing, toys, or opened beauty products typically don't work well for auctions. When in doubt, reach out to us!
  • Can I donate cash?

    While we're not collecting cash donations as part of the auction this year, you can support the Benefit by purchasing ticket packages and angel tickets, bidding generously at the event, or helping us secure donated items and merchant contributions.
  • Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?

    Yes! All donations will receive a tax receipt.
  • When is the deadline to donate items?

    All donations must have a completed donation form and received no later than Wednesday, February 25th.
  • Can I donate a service or experience?

    Absolutely! Experiential donations like cooking classes, golf lessons, private dinners, or tours are among our most popular items.
  • What's the difference between the silent and live auctions?

    The silent auction features a wide variety of items available for online bidding before and during the event and is open to everyone in the Trevor community. The live auction showcases premium packages and experiences with an auctioneer during the Gala evening.
  • When do tickets go on sale?

    Ticket sales will open in January. An email will be sent out to the community and you can purchase tickets on this page.
  • What's the dress code?

    Cocktail attire. Come ready to celebrate!
  • How do I bid if I can't attend the event?

    You can participate in the silent auction online even if you're unable to attend. Bidding opens a few days before the event and we will email the announcement to the community. Bidding closes at 9:30 pm on the evening of the event.
  • When and how do I pick up items I've won?

    Winnings should be collected at the end of the event. If you place the winning bid online, you will receive a confirmation via text/email at the close of the auction. Auction winners may pick up items at event check-out. For remote bidders, pick-up is available at West Campus ONLY on the following dates:
