Trevor Day managed through a push by Nightingale-Bamford in the fifth inning where Trevor Day coughed up four runs, but Trevor Day still won 8-6 on Friday.
There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Trevor Day collected 11 hits and Nightingale-Bamford had eight. Trevor Day got things moving in the first inning, when Callie Landberg doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs. Trevor Day tallied three runs in the sixth inning. Trevor Day big bats were led by Clementine Yockey and Gabby Perello, who all drove in runs. Trevor Day tallied 11 hits on the day. Jojo Greenberg, Yockey, and Luz Rivera each had multiple hits for Trevor Day. Yockey and Greenberg all had three hits to lead Trevor Day.
Riley Gleason earned the win for Trevor Day. She surrendered six runs on eight hits over seven innings, striking out seven.
