AI Usage & Data Security Policy
To ensure the highest level of data security and privacy, Gemini (via your Trevor account) is the only authorized AI tool for any tasks involving student or school-specific data. Using your Trevor login ensures that our information remains within a secure, managed environment. (This is not true for personal accounts).

When Gemini is Required
You must use your Trevor-managed Gemini account for any AI-assisted task involving sensitive information, such as:

• Drafting student reports or progress comments.
• Analyzing internal department data or student assessments.

When other tools can be used
Faculty may use other AI tools for general instructional planning (such as formatting worksheets or brainstorming project ideas), provided that no student or school data is entered into the tool.

This requirement is a critical safeguard to protect our community’s information and adhere to our strict privacy standards.

Student Policy & Age Restrictions

• Lower and Middle School: AI use remains strictly prohibited for all school-related tasks.
• Upper School: Students may only use AI when explicitly directed by a teacher for a specific assignment. In these authorized cases, Upper School students must use Trevor’s Gemini while logged into their school accounts to ensure a secure and supervised experience.
